Charlie Wildy’s painting practice engages the condition and autonomy of mark making that suggests the familiarity and confrontation involved with everyday encounters. Capturing the un - extraordinary and overlooked subjects of the everyday her paintings evolve through a process of layering the subjective and experimental possibilities of surface, colour and materials.
